Thomasville First United Methodist Church stands unique in Thomasville as the original mainline denomination that embraced both traditional and contemporary styles of worship. Instead of a “blended” worship style, you will find two distinct, vibrant worship services that look completely different.

Sunday, 8:45am, Fellowship Building
This service allows for the free Worship of God in a modern setting. Incorporating elements of contemporary presentation, our uplifting Praise and Worship music and Message from the Senior Pastor join to deliver the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Promises of God’s Word. No matter where on your faith journey you are — congregant, visitor, or just someone just checking out church — we hope you’ll find a home in this place, and we’re certain you’ll find the loving spirit of God’s people.

Sunday, 11:00am, Sanctuary
Steeped in tradition and symbolism, this service honors the formal order and setting of centuries of Methodist worship and includes the Affirmation of Faith, The Lord’s Prayer, and the Doxology. Congregational hymns are sung from the Methodist Hymnal and accompanied with organ and piano. Chancel Choir and Hand Bells further enhance the worship experience.
